Don’t know how to swim? Afraid of drowning? If so, you’ll love this installation created by Argentinean artist Leandro Erlich. It’s a swimming pool that allows you to breathe underwater.
There’s just one catch–the full-size swimming pool is totally fake. It may seem as though the pool is filled with water and you could just do a cannon ball right into the middle, however, it’s really just a bunch of empty space separated from 10 centimeters of water by a thin piece of transparent glass.
Visitors to the 21st Century Museum of Art in Kanazawa, Japan, can walk the bottom of the pool or take a creative make-believe swim just for laughs.
This is one of the coolest illusions we’ve ever seen.
