There’s an old saying: “Do you what you love and the money will follow.”
What does that say about Joanna Ebenstein, who has turned a lifelong interest in death and bizarre human and animal anomalies into a thriving tourist attraction: The Morbid Anatomy Museum in Brooklyn.
Some of the macabre attractions at the MAM include death masks, emu feet and wax models of diseased body parts.
“People ask me all the time how I got involved in this sort of thing and … what some people would deem morbid stuff,” she told the Huffington Post. “In my mind, all children are into it and I just never outgrew it.”
